LP Foods is also strongly experienced in fish (Snapper and Mahi mainly) and in Octopus (from Indonesia and Mexico) regularly exported to Food Service operators (Horeca). All products follow our company’s philosophy of no additives and no harm to the environment or the community.

Founder of Amati Vongole

Since 1920’s

Since 1920s, LP Foods legacy dates back to the years Amati Vongole, a respected family businessman who pioneered processing and canning of clams in Europe and in the ‘80s actively exported them to the big players in USA and Japan.

Pioneers in Frozen Seafood

In the mid 1980s, Livio Petz (Amati’s Production Manager) embraced frozen seafood business and pioneered clam exports from Vietnam to Italy, as well as squid and other major items. He was considered among the first major contributors to the flourishing of the local seafood export market, and his suppliers grew to be today’s Vietnam giants. He then went on to establish a processing plant in Myanmar.

We are The New Generation

LP Foods was established in Singapore in 2005. We have offices in Vietnam and Jakarta, and a state of the art shrimp processing facility for raw and cooked shrimp, designed by UK food safety experts and vertically integrated to shrimp farms. We actively export to Japan, UK and USA, where our name is synonymous with stability, quality products, honesty and ethical behaviour.

Our commitment to excellence, honest and safe practices is best exemplified by our BRC grade AA certification. We are proud to be one of only five companies globally of this grade and innovators in the seafood industry. We are a member of Sedex and participate in and support FIP projects. We strictly require products and suppliers alike to follow only ASC, MSC and BAP standards.

Our ASC Lead Auditor is a recognized expert with over 10 years of audits all over Asia for a major auditing and certification body. On top of that, our supply chain transparency and traceability are of the highest standards in the business. We are two of only 19 members of the VASEP Sustainable Certifications Advisory Council (CERACO), established to ‘support and promote businesses to effectively apply their sustainability certifications’. Working alongside members from government bodies, members from big seafood producers and members from ‘importer’ companies.
