We seek and audit sustainable seafood sources and we proactively engage in local sea and aquaculture improvement projects. We continuously innovate and develop value added products and ready meals in our Test Kitchen with our Corporate Chef. We perform Research and Development projects in cooperation with University and Research Centres in the Aquaculture Field. We have an active communication team who seek to open up our supply chain transparency through videos and media communication. We leverage technology to give full visibility of our supply chain to our customers and to the final consumers. In honour of Livio Petz we named our company LP Foods, and we will continue to serve, innovate and be pioneers in the ever changing tides of this industry.

Sustainability at our Core.

LP Foods team is professionally prepared to perform full Supply Chain Audits on the basis of ASC and BAP, as well as implement our customers’ RS standards thus protecting their brands. In our efforts to do the right thing and make a small contribution for a better world, we only deal with seafood items with a sustainable profile backed up by a recognised sustainability certification, as well as actively engage in FIP projects with NGO’s to seek improvements to fisheries who need it. We strongly desire to be Socially Responsible, and we monitor the Welfare of all workers across our supply chain parts, through recognized social certifications (Smeta, BCSI) as well as active cold checks and inspections.

Traceability

  • We only source our seafood from our LP Foods network of suppliers, which are fully audited for compliance to the highest standards.We guarantee all our seafood can be traced back to its origin, very pond it was farmed in or boat it came from. Focus on working with fully integrated suppliers. Engaging with suppliers to develop and maintain 3rd party certifications and embrace new industry leading policies. Use of technology to improve supply chain transparency.

  • Engagement actively in SFP fishery improvement programs in Vietnam and Indonesia and expanding Asia reach;
  • Working actively to develop new artisan fisheries globally;
  • Rely on Sedex and BCSI to protect Workers Welfare and routinely monitor our suppliers for compliance;
  • Developing our network of Research Universities in Singapore to face issue as water pollution, eyestalk ablation and similar;
  • Working to improve the transparency of fishmeal and fish oil ingredients to improve sustainability and decrease overtime use of marine ingredients.
